La Folie is
located in Argeliers, which is in the Aude
region of the Languedoc Roussillon. It is 15 minutes north
of Narbonne and Beziers, 7 minutes from Capestang, 40 minutes
from Carcassonne (airport) and 25 minutes from the Mediterranean.

THE TOWN
Argeliers is a charming Aude village in the Languedoc-Roussillon
region and is located on the beautiful canal du midi.
There are local markets, restaurants, doctors and year round activities.
The surrounding countryside contains many beautiful walks in the
hills and along the Canal du Midi, hiking trails in the Cevennes,
kayaking in the Gorge d’Heric, and golf courses. Vineyards and
fruit farms abound.
Argeliers village has a Spar supermarket, 2 boulangeries, post
office, vegetable shop, tabac, restaurants, café, church,
park, rugby pitch, tennis courts, an excellent school and many
more facilities.
There is a lively market on Saturday mornings and year round events
are held in the village and surrounding areas.
There are a number of large supermarkets within 7-8 minutes drive
of the village and an abundance of facilities in nearby Narbonne.
The nearest
airports are Carcassonne, Beziers and Perpignan.
